Online Adoption Education Classes

You will see and hear your instructor on your computer screen as well as the synchronized PowerPoint presentation slides, all from the privacy of your home! It is similar to how doctors learn in medical school.

Our online classes are easy and fun! Adoptive families can learn at their own pace, schedule and from the privacy of your own home. If you need to interact with the instructor, a class discussion forum is available for questions. The instructors will be notified via email and their answers will be posted there.

Question 2. What is the cost to take the courses?

The cost per credit hour is $25. This fee includes all courses, down loadable handouts and certificate of completion authorized by the medical professionals at adoptioneducationclasses.com. Most of the classes are one credit hour each, but there are some that are more complicated and longer in duration so these classes are $45 for 2 credit hours.

Question 3. Do I need a high-speed Internet connection to read the courses?

In order to view the instructor and the PowerPoint slides at the same time, a broadband connection is mandatory. For those who have dial-up Internet, seminar video can still be accessed, but not the slides. You will need to follow along with a downloaded version of the PowerPoint slides.

Question 4. Will I need to download any special software?

You do not need to download any special software, but you will need to be running a windows platform computer. Currently, people running Macs will not be able to view our lectures, but they can use our service in the same way that the dial-up clients access our seminars.

Question 5. Do I need to be affiliated with an agency to take a course?

No, these online video classes and certification programs are available to anyone seeking adoption education and more importantly Adoption Education Certification.

Question 6. How long does it take to complete the material?

Each course is equivalent to 1 hour of educational material. Class duration is approximately 45 minutes long and the online quiz will takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. You will not need to spend countless hour reading material on a computer screen. Our instructors will speak directly to you and teach you exactly what you need in order pass the online quiz and eligibility for certification.

Question 7. Will I receive a certificate after completing each course?

You will receive a certificate of completion after you successfully viewed to the entire video class as well as completed the online quiz.

For those requiring it, the PDF file of your Certificate with your name, class name, and number of credits completed can be forwarded to your adoption agency for your file.

Question 8. Can I skip the video and just take the test in order to certify?

NO!!! We feel that adoption education classes are vital to making the adoption process a success. Education and knowledge is the only way that you as a parent can be adequately prepared for the adoption journey that lies in front of you.

Question 9: What if I do not need formal certification of a class, but I am interested in learning about adoption medical topics?

You can still access the classes but at a reduced fee. The fees will range from $10-$15 per class.
